MEETING MINUTES DECEMBER 7, 2022

Meeting called to order: 12:05 pm at Buccilli’s

Introduction of Guests: Terry Miller, Rotary District 6290 and Trevor Older owner of T.J. Loepp business.

Birthday’s: Jim VanSice, December 10

Minutes: November 14, 2022, Minutes were approved. Jim VanSice made a motion and Barb Souder seconded. Motion was carried.

Speaker: Terry Miller, Public Image Chair Rotary District 6290
Terry spoke to the club about ways to enhance the public image of the club through such things as the local newspaper, social media, and Club Runner. He gave examples that he had personally used. He demonstrated examples through a PowerPoint presentation.

Upcoming Events:

“Turkeys instead of Tickets” at traffic stops will take place on December 13 th and 14 th .

Turkeys will be picked up at Walmart at 8:30 a.m. 

Shop with a Hero

December 14 th , leave police post at 6:00 pm

With various funding sources, this year there will be a
$125/child for shopping at Walmart for Holiday gifts.

 

Houghton Lake Rotary Auction Committee

 December 16 th at 6 pm at the Backdoor Saloon
